Powered by your iPhone, Runmeter can track various activities such as cycling, running, walking, hiking, skiing, and kayaking. The stopwatch feature allows you to swipe across the screen to view comprehensive stats, maps, and graphs that can be customized according to your preferences. You can also analyze your workouts on your iPad, with the data being automatically updated through iCloud.

When it comes to privacy and security, Runmeter ensures that your workout data is safely stored on your iPhone. It takes up minimal space despite years' worth of workouts. The app doesn't require any user names or passwords to protect your privacy. You have the option to share your workout data via email, Strava, MyFitnessPal, or Twitter if desired. Live tracking is available but only with invited friends. Additionally, there is an optional encrypted iCloud backup feature.

Runmeter goes beyond basic tracking capabilities by allowing you to monitor heart rate, bike speed, bike cadence, bike power, step cadence, steps, and even measure altitude changes with your iPhone's barometric altimeter. The app also automatically records temperature and weather conditions. It integrates with Google Maps to provide terrain and traffic information.

One of the standout features of Runmeter is its voice-enabled functionality. You can easily control the app using Siri, including starting, stopping, and recording laps. With hundreds of configurable announcements available, you can receive updates on distance, time, speed, elevation, and heart rate either on-demand or at specific intervals during your workout.

For those who value sharing their progress with others, Runmeter offers free live-tracking and messaging. Your location, path, and workout stats can be automatically shared with family and friends. The app also converts messages into spoken words using text-to-speech technology.

Runmeter provides several options for sharing your workout data. You can generate an online Workout Explorer for in-depth analysis, and share your workouts via email, Twitter, Strava, or MyFitnessPal. The app seamlessly integrates with HealthKit, allowing you to export or import your workouts in the Health app and access heart rate and biometric data. You can also share your workouts with your iPhone calendar and online calendars. Runmeter supports various file formats for importing and exporting data including GPX, TCX, FIT, KML, and CSV.

To help you achieve your training goals, Runmeter offers detailed analysis of split times, intervals, and performance zones. The app also allows you to set customizable interval training, zones, and targets to stay on track. For added motivation, you can compete against your previous workouts along a specific route. Additionally, there are pre-designed training plans for distances such as 5K, 10K, half-marathon, and marathon. If desired, you can create your own training plans.

For Apple Watch users, Runmeter provides convenient functionality directly from your wrist. You can start, stop, record laps, and finish workouts using your Apple Watch. The app features beautifully designed gauge pages with zones to enhance your workout experience.

Runmeter Elite offers a 7-day free trial and requires payment through the iTunes Account after the trial period. Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period, at the same price. Subscriptions can be managed by the user, and auto-renewal can be disabled in the user's Account Settings after purchase. If applicable, any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited when a subscription is purchased.
